071 Production operation Česká Třebová

The Centre 071 in Česká Třebová has a long-time tradition of production and mounting of traction systems for railways and public city transportation. Another branch, in which the Company is active, is production and mounting of switchgear and control-gear assemblies and technological units, both for transportation (state railways, public city transportation, airports, suburb railways, metro), as well as for other branches (such as gas industry) or civil sector (switchgear and control-gear assemblies for power supply to shopping centres or office buildings). In parallel with this type of production, this centre produces elements of overhead contact lines. In addition to the above mentioned production program, this centre also includes a new logistics centre that provides material and technical supplies to the whole Company.

Centre´s main activities include:

Production of low-voltage and high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies.

Production of low-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies in compliance with EN 60439-1, ed. 2.

Production of cubicle-type standard switchgear and control-gear assemblies of the following types marked as:

  • RH designed for supplies to power electrical distribution systems including compensations;
  • RO designed for control, signalling, and regulation electrical distribution systems;
  • RX designed for transition and terminal distribution systems.

Production of steel-sheet switchgear and control-gear assemblies OCEP of the following types marked as:

  • RHO for supplies to power electrical distribution systems including compensations;
  • ROO generally for control, signalling, and regulation electrical distribution systems;
  • RXO for transition and terminal distribution systems.

Production of switchgear and control-gear assemblies housed in plastic cabinets of the following types marked as:

  • MH for supplies to power electrical distribution systems;
  • MO generally for control, signalling, and regulation electrical distribution systems;
  • MX-O generally for transition and terminal distribution systems.

Production of high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies in compliance with ČSN EN 50123, ČSN EN 62271-200:

  • production of cubicle-type high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies of type EZB-3 kV DC designed for direct-current distribution systems in traction supply and switching substations of the 2-3 kV DC/IT system and performing a function of protection of overhead contact lines of Czech Railways’ tracks;
  • production of cubicle-type high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies of type EZB-M designed for direct-current distribution systems in supply and switching substations of the 750 V DC/IT system, and performing a function of protection of overhead contact lines of public city transportation tracks;
  • production of cubicle-type high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies of type EZB-U (converter) designed for power supply to overhead contact lines of the 2-3 kV DC/IT direct-current system of the Czech Railways;
  • production of cubicle-type high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies of type EZB-AC designed for alternating-current distribution systems in traction supply and switching substations of the 1PEN 50 Hz 27 kV/TN-C,  1PEN 16 2/3 Hz 17,5 kV/TN-C system, and performing a function of protection of overhead contact lines on Czech Railways’ tracks as well as on foreign tracks;
  • production of high-voltage kiosk aluminium-zinc track-side transformer stations of type TS7 –Azi designed for the 6 kV AC, IT distribution system with a frequency of 50/75 Hz to supply power to interlocking plants of Czech Railways’ tracks;
  • production of high-voltage concrete transformer substations of type TS–3M-B designed for the 6 kV AC, IT distribution system with a frequency of 50/75 Hz to supply power to interlocking plants of Czech Railways’ tracks;
  • production of high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies of type EPZ-3 kV AC 50 Hz, EPZ-3 kV DC designed for pre-heating of railway vehicles transporting passengers;
  • production of high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies in GI-II/I-IV-type plastic cabinets designed to terminate the negative terminal of the 3 kV DC/IT voltage system;
  • production of purpose-designed high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies, high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies for special purposes, retrofit of the 6 kV and 22 kV switch truck of the IRODEL switchgear and control-gear assembly, special structures for electrical devices, cubicle-type switching stations.

Other activities:

  • assembling of low-voltage equipment for high-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies filled with SF6 gas;
  • production of purpose-designed low-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies and low-voltage switchgear and control-gear assemblies for special purposes, special structures for electrical devices;
  • production of parts and elements of overhead contact lines for electrification of railways and city public transportation systems;
  • locksmith production and structures, assembled masts, repairs of bodies of railway wagons (also special wagon bodies according to customer’s requirements);
  • cold working of metals;
  • inert gas shielded welding;
  • chip machining;
  • production and repairs of pressing dies and tools.

  • blasting machine – through profile of 700 × 400 mm, length of 12 m, S11 steel chippings pursuant to ČSN (S0330 pursuant to SAE);
  • sheet shears – sheet gauge thickness of 10 mm, length of 3 000 mm;
  • profile shears – 380 × 25 mm rectangular profiles, L 150 × 18 mm profiles, U 65 and 80 profiles, ø 55 mm round bars, bending and punching section – 115 metric tons;
  • folding brake press – working length of 3 150 mm, 135 metric tons;
  • eccentric press – 10 metric tons, 63 metric tons, 100 metric tons, 160 metric tons;
  • profile bending machine – flat steel, T-profiles, solid materials, L-profiles, tubes;
  • band sawing machine – ø 260 mm round bars, 310 × 250 mm rectangular bars, turning to the right 45°, to the left 60°;
  • centre lathes – maximum swing clearance of ø 400 mm, turning length of 1500 mm;
  • NC hole-punching press – maximum sheet size of 2 500 × 1 250 mm, sheet gauge thickness for Fe = 5 mm, for stainless steel = 3 mm;
  • universal milling machine – table size of 1 600 × 400 mm, maximum distance of 450 mm between the spindle axis and table;
  • thread rolling machine 3-75 mm, thread length of 80 mm, pitch subject to negotiation;
  • screw-cutting lathe M16 – M45, length depending on diameter;
  • drill-grinding machine, ø 4 – 40 mm;
  • centre grinding machine – maximum ø 250 mm, length 750 mm;
  • flat-surface grinding machine 3 G 71 M, with magnetic table;
  • column-mounted upright drilling machines VS 32 , Morse taper shank 3;
  • welding sources – MAG, TIG technology (ordinary steel , stainless steel, aluminium);
  • hardening furnace 470 × 310 × 600 mm, temperature 980 °C;
  • painting booth 6 000 × 3 960 × 2 920 (l×w×h), maximum size of products 2 200 × 1 400 × 1 200 mm;
  • degreasing booth 4 200 × 4 500 × 2 200 (l×w×h);
  • cutting plotter – roll width 600 mm;
  • moulding press – range of pressing diameters – ø 10-87 mm;
  • CNC turning machine – length between centres of 1 250 mm, ø swing clearance over bed of 245 mm, spindle throughput – ø 54;
  • writing device for conductor and cable marking sleeves.

The following facilities are available for use on the centre’s premises:

  • 4 100 m2 production hall area;
  • 2 030 m2 indoor storage area;
  • 12 000 m2 outdoor storage area;
  • own railway siding connected to Česká Třebová railway station.
