The projects Optimization of Benešov u Prahy - Strančice line and Kolin Railway Junction have been successfuly going on and the traction section Strančice - Říčany, Track 1 will be put into operation soon
A fast pantograph test was performed on Breclav - st. border line which meant a successful ending of the construction
Track 1 in the line section Railway station Plesnice - Railway station Pnovany is being prepared for the operation - this section is a part of Plzeň - Stříbro electrification project
In March 2007 works on the construction of Modernization of Veseli n/L. - Tabor, Part 1, section Doubi u Tabora - Tabor started
On České Budějovice - Velenice railway line a major part of traction mast foundations was realized
Foundations for traction masts are being built in the railway section Liben - Bechovice

During the 2nd half of the year 2007 a new painting shop was installed and the trial operation started in the production centre in Vlkov. The new equipment uses a new technology of the application of surface finishing.
The train service on a newly reconstructed electrified railway line Šatov - Retz was ceremonialy launched in Šatov on December 11th, 2006. Representatives of Czech and Austrian towns and villages were present at the event.
On November 11th EŽ Praha a.s. Horce Racing Day took part in Prague Velka Chuchle. There were 7 races on the schedule, 2 of them were steeple-chase - the most important races of the day. The main one, Great Prague Steeple-Chase was won by 6 years old brown horse called Blizzard from ZZN Polabí - Luka with jockey Vaclav Luka.
On Dec 7th, 2007 electrical train service was ceremonialy launched on the newly electrified railway line between Ostrava Main St. and Ostrava Kuncice.
On Friday, June 8th, 2007 more than 200 football fans gathered in Velky Osek to witness and compete for the victory in the jubilee cup both in "Elite" and "Recre" groups. The organizers had ordered lovely weather and served a satisfactory refreshment. Many nice football and even non-football moments were seen on the playgrounds.
A new project of České Velenice – České Budějovice line electrification, 1st stage was ceremonialy opened in the Gomel hotel in České Budějovice on November 8th, 2006. The aim of this project is the improvment of the railway transport between Czech Republic and Austria. After finishing the construction electrified sections between České Budějovice and state border (Gmünd) will be connected.
